I work from home, and am an online college student, and my computer is on all day (and sometimes night) and it tends to get pretty hot. I got this to keep it cool while it is on and running for long periods of time. The good about it is that it is pretty quiet, and it does appear to do a pretty good job of keeping it cool (I use the height with the tabs in the back). The fan is definitely not blowing tornado winds out of it, but it seems to do okay for my needs. I like that it's adjustable, although it really only has 3 modes. Laid flat down (which hinders the fans some), raised with two little tabs in the back, or raised at a crazy high angle with a foldout arm. If you plan to use the foldout part, you probably won't be able to type comfortably - or at least I couldn't - I would need to get a second keyboard that lays a little flatter on the table. However, this setting would probably be most comfortable as far as height for the display, so I understand why they included that feature. My only real complaints are that I was hoping it would be bit thinner, and that it does use up one of your USB ports (though I knew this when I purchased it). I realize the fans must get power somewhere, so this part I understand. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Does the job but there's much better options out there :). *by R***7 on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on March 3, 2017* The Good it's quiet, smallish compact not heavy, has two blueish/purple lit colored lights on the fans when it's powered on. The Bad it's not even semi quick fastish even at turned up to Max speed on the little knob adjuster thing. It is better than nothing and my computer's functioning better which is the whole point so I'd give it a 6.5 outta 10 score :). ### ⭐ Did not work.Tried various USB's and laptops. Unhappy.
