Grow Light, 6500K Full Spectrum, Cree COB LED, 65 Watts,12,000 Lumens

I started out using CMH and HPS lights, went through blurple LEDS and onto modern LEDS, and it was about time I tried a COB LED out. I remember the owner of a local grow shop telling me years ago that he thought COB was going to be a really big deal in the future. I figured no time like the present.Out of the box this light has a bit of weight compared to most LED panel lights. Not any heavier than a 315 CMH or anything that I'm concerned about the hangers holding up, just a little heft. The light it puts out is nice and bright and some vegging plants have aimed themselves at it already so that's always a good sign. I love that you can dim it which is becoming standard on LEDs now and should have been from the start. Another thing it does right and all lights should be doing is the ability to daisy chain more in series. It gets a little warmer than my panel LEDs but the fan does a good job and it's not an excessive amount of heat.I have to mention this and the only reason it's not reflected in how many stars I gave this is because I don't know if this was Amazon or the company's doing but this light was not delivered in a brown box. They slapped a shipping label on the product box and sent as is which means I had a box that advertised "LED GROW LIGHT" on my front steps all day in a suburban neighborhood where anyone could see it. NOT COOL and I was pissed when I got home and saw it. I don't care how good the light is I would take stars away just for that if I knew for sure that was standard and not just an error by Amazon. Still mad about that.

I really wanted to like this light but ran into some issues with it. It is fairly quiet most of the time, but every now and then the fan inside kept vibrating against something. My husband took a peek in there and couldn’t figure out why it kept doing that. It isn’t in a room where we sleep or need quiet so it’s not a dealbreaker.Beyond that, this is a seriously bright light in a smaller footprint with low wattage. My plants loved it this spring.

I wouldn't recommend ordering this particular grow light. If you're shopping around for a quality grow light, you probably shouldn't order this one. So I can't recommend it. Try another brand.

Rated at 65watts it gives good full spectrum light output in a small all aluminum housing. Internally cooled and makes growing in small spaces easy. At 380-780nm spectrum it's a bright white 6500k putting g out about 12k lumen. The light is linkable and fully dimmable. It measures 8"×8"×3.5". Cob style lights are good for small spaces in the event that bar style just won't fit your space.

at 6500K the color temp is good for early vegetative stage of cannabis growing. I used it in a 3’x3’ tent and it was more than adequate, in fact I lowered the output (it is variable). It vents the heat right though the unit with a built-in fan. The temp was not an issue in an Arizona winter but suspect it will not get used for veg in summer.

This thing is pretty unique in that it appears to only use one diode, but magnified. Kinda like an LED car light. It works, plants are growing as well under it as name brand lights I use.Starting to realize branding on led grow ighting is pretty much nonsense

The media could not be loaded.  This is impressive. Less noise than my other grow light. They both have fans and this one is noticeably more quiet.

I ordered this light to use in one of my grow tents. This light seem to work very well for my plants so far. They are growing a lot. I like that this light is low wattage and help save money on my electric bill. This is a decent light and a good value for the money.
