Bei uns vor dem Haus haben links und rechts neben unserem Parkplatz auf dem Beet sowie dem Grünstreifen Katzen ihr Geschäft hinterlassen. Über Jahre hinweg ist eine dauerhafte Katzentoilette entstanden und damit auch ein steigender Frust für uns. Jeder der das Problem kennt, wird verstehen, wie belastend das sein kann. Es ist ja nicht nur das Entfernen, sondern auch immer das Risiko reinzutreten und vor allem auch der unangenehme Geruch. Wir haben über Jahre Vieles versucht. Beispiele: - Pfeffer - Angießen und Flächen nass halten - Duftsprays - diverse aromatische Pflanzen, welche Katzen nicht sonderlich mögen eingepflanzt Letztlich haben wir sogar die eine Seite, an der man ständig vorbeiläuft und den netten Duft einfängt, mit dem Beet komplett aufgelöst (bis auf 2 Bäumchen), die Erde abgetragen, den Untergrund mit Vlies abgedeckt und mit groben und großen Edelsplittsteinen aufgefüllt. Damit hatten wir die Hoffnung, dass hier die Katzen nicht mehr ihre Häufchen setzen. Es hat jedoch keinen Tag gedauert und da haben die Katzen wieder ihr Geschäft hinterlassen, wobei das Entfernen nun noch ekliger war als auf der reinen Erde. Nichts half. Eigentlich hatten wir auch bei den Ultraschall-Gräten wenig Hoffnung auf Erfolg, da bei uns die Katzen echt durch nichts abzuschrecken waren. Aber diesen Versuch wollten wir doch noch machen. Also fix bei Amazon dieses Set bestellt und am übernächsten Tag das Päckchen in den Händen gehalten. Beide Geräte waren gut verpackt. Das Anschrauben der Spitzen war einfach und selbsterklärend (lediglich ein Schraubendreher ist erforderlich). Batterien waren wie erwartet keine enthalten. Nach dem Einbau der Batterien und Einstellen der Geräte (3/4 bei Frequenz und 3/4 bei Reichweite) habe ich beide Geräte links und rechts neben unserem Parkplatz installiert. Was soll ich sagen? Wir sind begeistert. Wir haben nun seit 2 Wochen keine Hinterlassenschaften mehr auf beiden Seiten. Also erfüllen beide Geräte ihren Zweck mehr als vortrefflich. Bisher war pro Tag mindestens ein Geschenk zu finden und nun haben wir das Problem (hoffentlich dauerhaft) los! Einziger minimaler Nachteil, meiner Meinung nach, ist die blaue LED, die immer dann anfängt zu leuchten, wenn der Sensor Bewegung erfasst hat und der Ultraschall-Lautsprecher aktiviert wird. Uns und den Nachbarn stört es nicht. Ansonsten sind beide Geräte aus unserer Sicht echt top und vor allem für den Preis von um die 30 EUR echt ein Geschenk im Vergleich zu dem Frust und Ärger, den wir vorher hatten.
