Most importantly, do they include shea butter?** A: They do not contain shea butter. The primary ingredients are water, sorbitol, glycerin and essential oils. They lather very well and leave softer skin and a long lasting fragrance (scent is NOT overpowering). My husband loves them. I see a 3 in. and a 3.5 in bowl by Viking.** A: Each puck has a 70mm diameter, which is a little more than 2.7 inches. The 3 inch cup should be sufficient, but some prefer the greater clearance of a 3.5 inch cup in order to build a lather on the side. I use an off brand shaving bowl with a 72mm diameter at the opening, which I believe was designed around the Van Der Hagen shaving soap. That lasted me a solid year and I decided to try something different. Luckily this one fit the cup, more or less. **Q: Is the glycerin coconut based?** A: its ingredient panel lists glycerin as a major part of the soap.
