I bought this for my brother who has some cognitive impairment and was having trouble watching dvd's on his tv. All that "input select" stuff was getting him stuck sometimes. But he also does't "scan" that well and I needed a dvd player that was clear and big enough for him to see and enjoy the movies he loves.This player is both easy to use, doesn't skip or get hung up, is not confusing to operate and while compact is big enough to enjoy watching a movie on -- at least, that is, for those who are stuck on big screens.He's had it for months now and not one problem or complaint.Best of all, the customer service is prompt, responsive and generous. I contacted customer service before buying the machine because I was concerned if the player and instructions would be easy enough for my brother to manage from the get-go. They were extremely responsive and kind.
