There are no extra pads, like how some bras have an extra pad at the bottom as a pushup. But it is on the "thick" side compared to unlined bra. This is my favorite bra :) **Q: The description says to hand wash, but can I wash it in my washing machine that has a "hand-wash" cycle? Can it be put in the dryer on low?** A: I wash mine on regular in the machine and hang dry it is fine. **Q: Smoothes back fat or makes it more ovious?** A: I think it smooths it a little bit. It's not the best bra I've had for back fat but definitely not the worst. As long as you buy the right size I suppose. But it is ridiculously comfortable. My doctor suggested a cotton sports bra. I did so much research! I searched many bra sites. Finally found these and thought I would give them a try since they were inexpensive and buying bras online is basically a crapshoot. These are the most comfortable bras I have ever had! Ever, and I’m 62! They are very soft, they stretch just right, the straps don’t fall down (that’s always been a big issue for me). I did order a size up because I didn’t want it tight at all. But it really fits just right. I can see where some might have an issue with the bottom hook, but just don’t hook that one. I personally go back and forth, sometimes I hook it, sometimes I don’t. After receiving the first one I wore it and washed it every day for a few days to see how it went. I did not dry it in the dryer so I can’t comment on that. After about 4 days I ordered 4 more! I’m usually one who takes my bra off as soon as I get home. Not this one! I wear it all day, even if I lay down for a nap lol. I wear it under tees for a trip to the store. Not tons of support, but it’s a low impact sports bra so I didn’t expect it to have a lot. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it does tend to ride up in the back sometimes, which can be a bit annoying, but definitely not a dealbreaker. Try it! It’s soft, it’s comfortable, and it’s inexpensive!
