Review: Good chopper for the value. - Great little chopper. It is not a full food processor, but for chopping veggies for like pico in the summer and salads and stuff, it works fantastic. I just did not have the time to chop things without this little guy helping me. The chopping and food prep is fine, I know how to do it, but it takes a while when you get off work. I wasn't sure how to use it at first, but then I found out you push that top part over the handle down and off it goes. I like the color. For what it costs, it's pretty good. It is easy to clean and can be run through the dishwasher. It isn't too loud. I just really like this little guy, but I might get a full food processor another time because this can only chop your veggies or pulse as it is not a full processor. Oh, and the brand is a good one, so I have no worries of this guy breaking, plus I just moved with it... and no changes on how it works.
Review: Works beautifully - Love this. Works beautifully, easy to use. Everything except the base is dishwasher safe. Great size. Rarely need my full-sized processor now that we’re empty nesters.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many watt does it have?**
A: Is there a way to change voltage???? To 220V?

**Q: Does this product grind up salt, pepper fennel (spices basically)?**
A: I think that the Krups F203 Coffee/Spice blender might be more of what you are looking for. I have used one for YEARS to grind spices, seeds, and salt with great results. I clean it after each use by grinding up torn white bread into crumbles and dumping them, leaving the metal cup and plastic cap nice and fresh.

**Q: Does it chop nuts?**
A: Very well. I used to make peanut butter.

**Q: I want to chop apples to small dice but not mush. Will this work?**
A: I have used it to chop apples, nuts, dates, and figs, put on chop and pulse until desired consistency. Do not try to chop so many at once as it will mush some of them before you can get all of them chopped. I used it to chop apples for baking and it did great.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing. Finally a machine that chops even chunks as small as you want. Love it.
*by E***R on January 3, 2026*

I honestly didn’t expect to love this little chopper as much as I do. I hesitated at the price because $69 felt high for something so small, but after using it, I get it. It just works. Onions chop evenly instead of turning half to mush and half to chunks. Even 1 piece of ginger or garlic gets chopped in uniform chunks. Nuts come out chopped, not powdered, unless you want them that way. The pulse button gives really good control, and it stops immediately when you let go, which makes a big difference. There was no manual so a hint- the chopper works when the bowl clicks into place and then you press on the black part of the lid. It’s sturdy, not flimsy, and doesn’t bounce around on the counter. Cleanup is easy and I actually reach for it instead of my big food processor for most everyday tasks. I cut large carrots in thirds just see how it would handle larger chunks. Made perfect grated carrots for salad. I love this product. I asked ChatGPT while it worked so well. Here’s what it said regarding why it works so well. Motor torque matched to bowl size (this is the quiet secret). What you bought is not “more powerful” in the headline-watt sense; it is better matched. The KFC3516 uses a relatively high-torque, low-inertia motor driving a very small load. Large processors waste energy spinning mass—big bowls, long shafts, air, and plastic flex. Here almost all torque goes directly into the food. Torque matters more than RPM for chopping. This is why onions shear cleanly instead of smearing. 2. Blade geometry favors shear, not circulation. The S-blade is short, thick, and steeply pitched. That geometry creates localized shear zones rather than a vortex. Many processors try to pull food into a circulating flow; this one repeatedly forces food into the blade edge. That means fewer “ride-along” pieces stuck to the walls and less reliance on stopping and scraping. The blade edge angle is closer to a knife than a fan. 3. Very tight tolerances between blade, bowl, and spindle. Cheap choppers have wobble—microns matter here. The KitchenAid has minimal lateral play, so the blade maintains a consistent cutting radius. That produces uniform particle size and reduces the mashed paste you get when food slips under a flexing blade. This is manufacturing precision, not marketing. 4. Pulse control with true momentary engagement. The pulse button engages instantly and stops instantly. There is almost no coast-down. That lets you meter energy in very small packets. You’re not “processing”; you’re applying controlled impacts. This is why herbs stay green, nuts stay granular, and aromatics don’t turn to baby food unless you insist. 5. Mass and damping reduce vibration losses. It feels heavier than it needs to be because mass damps vibration. Less vibration means more energy goes into cutting instead of shaking. This also reduces user fatigue and noise—both signs of mechanical efficiency, not luxury. 6. Small bowl = shorter diffusion paths. Food doesn’t have far to travel before encountering the blade again. In large processors, food can orbit uselessly. Here, every pulse rearranges the contents, whether you intend it or not. That makes results consistent even when under-filled—something most processors fail at. 7. Why it feels “expensive” but performs above its class. You paid for: • tighter manufacturing tolerances • a motor chosen for torque, not wattage • blade geometry optimized for shear • damping mass None of those are visible on a spec sheet. They are also exactly what manufacturers cut first to hit a lower price. 8. Why your larger processors lose to it at small tasks. Large processors are optimized for throughput, not control. They excel when full and fail when empty. This chopper is optimized for precision energy delivery at small volumes. Think scalpel vs. chainsaw. 9. A useful analogy. This machine behaves more like a bench-top lab homogenizer than a consumer food processor. Controlled pulses, tight tolerances, predictable results. That’s why it feels oddly competent. 10. Was $69 rational? Yes—because performance is not linear with size or wattage. You paid for mechanical efficiency and control. In small food prep, those dominate everything else. I’d buy it again without hesitation.
