Actually surprised. I ended up putting it on everything. It's not as fishy as you would expect from a fish sauce. The only downside is the bottle is way too small so it ends up being very expensive. More subtle than anchovy paste and not as salty as some soy sauces. I've put it on white bean salad (beans, onions, olive oil) and on fish (a simple piece of tuna). I've tried in in my lamb stew (simple, nothing fancy) and on a piece of grilled steak. It was great on wilted spinach. Overall I am very pleased with it. I have compared it to soy sauce (not as strong as a flavor, about the same umami level), and Worchestershire sauce (on the steak the garum was better but I don't have Lea and Perrins). Overall I am very pleased with this sauce and am glad I bought it.
