Won't ever switch brands 5 kids terrorizing the house and I'm dead asleep on the couch - I've tried a lot of different earplugs over the years, and these are by far my favorite. They're super comfortable because they don't go inside your ear canal like foam earplugs. You just mold them over the outside of your ear, and they stay in place all night. I use them mostly for sleeping because my partner snores, and they've made a huge difference. They block out way more noise than I expected without feeling uncomfortable or making my ears sore in the morning. They're also great if you have smaller ears or regular earplugs never seem to fit right. The silicone is soft, easy to mold, and doesn't leave a sticky residue when you remove it. I'll definitely keep buying these. If you're a light sleeper or just need some peace and quiet, they're absolutely worth trying. I don't ride large waves, but do swim through turbulence.** A: Thank you for your interest in our products. When used according to directions, these earplugs will stay quite securely in place. Please check out our instructional video to ensure the best fit and performance, https://youtu.be/MnlbnmyPm1k. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us at info@macksearplugs.com. Thanks! **Q: My son plays water polo and has an inner ear infection that requires drops. Will he be able to hear and keep enough water out w plugs?** A: Thank you for your interest in our products. Ear drops can make it difficult for moldable silicone earplugs to properly stick to the ear (as designed), so if your son is using ear drops and earplugs at the same time, we’d recommend using our Mack’s AquaBlock Earplugs. Our bodies absorb sound, so even though the ears will be sealed with earplugs, while a bit more difficult to hear, most users can still hear well enough to communicate. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us at info@macksearplugs.com or 586-427-7560. Thanks! **Q: How well do they work on helping with cabin pressure ear relief on planes?** A: Thank you for your interest in our products and I'm happy to help. Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Putty Earplugs have been tested and shown to help with flying discomfort. We recommend wearing the earplugs the entire flight, up until the airplane has landed and the cabin has been depressurized. Here are some additional tips for using these earplugs while flying that may be helpful (click on the FAQs tab on this page: https://www.macksearplugs.com/product/pillow-soft-silicone-earplugs/ ). While these earplugs are a great choice for flying, Mack’s also offers earplugs specifically designed for air travelers that experience ear pressure discomfort. Mack's Flightguard Airplane Pressure Relief Earplugs are a comfortable and effective choice for flying. The Flightguard Earplugs relieve ear pressure discomfort and provide 26 decibels of noise reduction for relaxation. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us. I think most of the people who are complaining did not read the directions. Here is what you need to know: - First, there is no need to press the silicone down into your eardrum. Just cover it and press it down on other parts of your ear. This will keep it in place. If you press down on your eardrum, you first risk damage, and second, it will be uncomfortable, especially if you are a side sleeper - You don't need to return it to a ball shape after each use. Doing this will reduce the lifespan of the plug ... found this out by experience. - When you are done in the morning, return the plugs to the plastic case and put them under the plastic wrap. This definitely prolongs their life. - Finally, the advertised amount of sound that is blocked is about 20-24db. These will not make your sleep soundproof, nor would most people want that. You will still hear alarms, big trucks and other things. It does block out small noises and dampens all others. If you are expecting total silence, don't buy these. Some people complain about getting as little as a few days out of each one. I routinely get 2 weeks and could probably stretch it further (they start to fall out in the middle of the night when they get too old). ## Frequently Bought Together - Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs, 8 Pair - The Original Moldable Silicone Putty Ear Plugs for Sleeping, Snoring, Swimming, Travel, Concerts and Studying | Made in USA - Mack's Soft Moldable Silicone Putty Ear Plugs - Kids Size, 6 Pair - Comfortable Small Earplugs for Swimming, Bathing, Travel, Loud Events and Flying | Made in USA - Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs, 12 Pair – The Original Moldable Silicone Putty Ear Plugs for Sleeping, Snoring, Swimming, Travel, Concerts and Studying | Made in USA --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/354654065-mack-s-pillow-soft-silicone-earplugs-8-pair-economy-pack](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/354654065-mack-s-pillow-soft-silicone-earplugs-8-pair-economy-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
