The MIDI Solutions F8 8-input MIDI Footswitch Controller provides eight 1/4 inch mono phone jack inputs for connection to footswitches or other momentary contact closures which can be used to trigger MIDI events. Triggered events are merged with incoming MIDI data and sent to the MIDI output of the F8. Event types are programmable for each footswitch input and include Note, Control Change, Pitch Bend, Program Change, Start/Stop, and System Exclusive messages (up to 20 bytes/System Exclusive message). Any two footswitch inputs may be configured to operate as Program Change INC/DEC controls. MIDI Echo and Footswitch Toggle parameters may be selected on/off. All settings are retained even after power is removed from the unit.
