Review: Works Well / Using On Juniper Shrubs / No Issues So Far - I've been using this electric chainsaw for a few days now and it has been pretty good. As someone who has never used any type of chainsaw, I would say that this one is good for a beginner. First, I will note that I had a dumb moment preparing the saw. Specifically, you are supposed to oil the chain before each use. I watched a couple of videos where people did this and would grasp the chain to spin it around while oiling. So I did that too. Well, let's just say that I cut my finger doing that (bad on me). Things that I have learned after using the device: 1) Just oil the visible section of the chain and don't worry about spinning it around. If you feel that you should spin it around, wear gloves. 2) You'll want to get used to the device. At first, it might bounce a little bit when you're applying it to a shrub/wood. However, as you get used to it, you'll figure out the amount of pressure to apply when using it. 3) You will need to tighten the chain to the device on a regular basis (using the provided tools). It's really easy to do. So don't get worried about having to do that. 4) Make sure that you use protective eyewear. I've never drained the battery when using the saw. However, I have charged it multiple times and have had no issues charging it thus far. I should note that I've been using it to cut out/up a hillside full of dead/dying juniper shrubs. So far, it has been going well (much better than a hand saw I was previously using). I'll update my review if I run into any issues but I have used it on 3 different days. Overall, I would say that the saw is worth considering/purchasing if you want to save time.
Review: Excellent saw at a great price! - I bought this small chainsaw about 6 months ago for light cutting of branches and brush around the yard with the hope that it could handle some tasks more easily than could be done with large lopping shears or hand saws. I have had occasion to use it several times since purchase and have, each time, been pleased at how well such a small electric saw has handled the tasks at hand. It cuts smaller branches rapidly and with ease since it has good power and cutting speed. Just today, we had a very large branch come down due to age and wind. It is clearly large enough to require professional removal by an arborist. But, the end section of the branch was smaller in size (4" - 5" thickness) and had fallen in such a way as to create a problem across our driveway. I decided to see if this saw could handle this section for me . . . . .and it did so with ease. I did not try to cut through the full thickness of the branch, but easily cut about 2" into it on one side and then did the same from the other side. This left a small piece in the middle to be cut and my Saker saw cut that away with ease - problem solved. Don't be fooled by the term "mini" electric saw. Yes, it's a small saw for small jobs, but it functions with easy handling and excellent power for many types and sizes of yard brush and trees. It's a saw that outperforms what one might expect of a saw at this very modest price. I only wish that I had bought it with a carrying case for ease of storage and transport, but that was my error of judgment. The saw performs fully as well as advertised. Would I buy it again if I had it to do over? Absolutely!

I wasn’t expecting much at this price, but this mini chainsaw really surprised me. It’s much stronger than I imagined and handled every branch I threw at it in my backyard. From small limbs to thicker branches, it cut through everything smoothly. The battery charge lasts a long time, which makes the work go faster without constant recharging. For the price and performance, this is an easy recommendation.
