The pens are a little chubby and are comparable to regular fountain and gel pen lengths. They still are excellent writing tools and provide outstanding quality results. **Q: Will a schneider topball 850 refill work with these pens?** A: Schneider topball 850 refill doesn't work for these pens. It is not suitable. **Q: Will these write on transparent sticky notes?** A: Don’t know but I would not purchase. These are more like .8 or 1.0 wide.
