## Description

The 2 piece rubber mini keg bung is a reusable bung that is used to seal the mini keg when carbonating your beer. After 2 -3 weeks of carbonation time, your beer should be ready to tap. All you have to do is push the long rod of the party star tap system into the center of the rubber bung, and let the plastic piece fall into the keg. When the keg is done, fish out the plastic center, clean it, attach it to the rest of the bung, and you are ready for the next use.

**Q: Will this work with a pico brew keg?**
A: It' hard to say.  In home brewing there are standardization in dimensions across many elements like bottles and caps or food-grade high temp tubing sizes for example.  Amazon is a great place to get all or your home brewing supplies because if the parts don't work they'll exchange it for free (and fast) or you may return it.

**Q: What is the inner diameter?**

**Q: Do I need to put keg lube on either piece to keep it in good shape?**
A: yes, keeps rubber pliable to work with and won't get hard.

**Q: Which way does this equalize the pressure? Keep pressure in? Or allow to magician when liquid is drawn out from the bottom?**
A: This assembly is designed to keep some pressure inside the keg. The center puck is pushed out by a tube (for the SPT mini kegerator at least) that is inserted, left in and connected to a CO2 cartridge on one side and the dispense lever on the other side. Pressure in the can and assist pressure from the cartridge allow almost all the liquid inside to be dispensed. If you were to use the mini keg for gravity feed I'd recommend first opening the bottom pour spout and dispense the liquid some to relieve pressure in the keg before poking the center plug into the can for airflow (keep keg upright). Otherwise pressurized liquid may spray out. Once the center is punched out it can't be put back in until the keg is emptied, the gray plug removed and the center plug retrieved. The gray portion should last maybe 6-10 times before having to be replaced. I would not advise putting the center plug in backwards. It may be pushed out from pressure inside the keg.
