I purchased this kit to replace an exact model kit that I installed 10 years ago.  So they do last.  The only thing I had to replace in the 10 year service life of the lights was the rechargeable batteries in the solar collector.  The lights are very bright and highlight the palm tree they are installed around.  Very spectacular at night when lighting up the palm tree.

    Water Damage

Water penetrated some of the lights and there was no where for the water to go.  I have lost 2 light due to them getting shorted out.  I am planning to put a hole at the back of the light to allow any water that gets in there.  The company should ensure that the water does not get into the lights.  I don't beleive that you can buy the flood light reflector on it's own.  In addition the off switch on one of the Solar Panels does work.  In a dry climate these lights would be great, but living in Florida where it rains alot, it's not practical.  Since I already have them I will have to find a way to make them water proof.
