Download the hikvision TFTP server (might be called "TFTP Tool" or "Hikvision Auto Update Tool" so you can search if the link no longer works)http://www.hikvision.com/europe/download_more.asp?id=13372. Download the older V5.0 firmware.I downloaded build v5.0.0.build.130412. You can search google for "v5.0.0.build.130412.rar" The site I used was http://bkeesti.ee/upload/Hikvision/Firmware/IP%20Kaamerad/DS-2CD2xxx%20(2.%20seeria)/v5.0/The file is named "digicap.dav1140050031111110011" and rename it to "digicap.dav".3. Put the digicap.dav file into the same directory as the TFTP tool.4. Change your ethernet ip address to 192.0.0.128 mask 255.255.255.0 and directly connect your ethernet to your camera.5.
