While are new packaging helps us to be Eco compliant, it creates the opportunity for things to fall on them in handling. Perhaps this occurred due to a stocking mishap. We apologize that this occurred. Your insoles can be washed on a delicate cycle to remove any glitter that had been placed on them. Do not put them in the dryer, just let them dry out naturally and they will perform just fine. **Q: Where is this made?** A: Made in China Dist. Would they work for boat shoes?** A: We have never tested our Dr. Scholl's Float on Air Insoles in Boat shoes with exposure to water. And while our foams are water resistant, the surface of the insole may become slippery in water.
