It is firm and provides enough comfort and support and at the same time is slim enough to keep you fairly flat, almost like you are lying on the floor. It is also fairly tough and resilient. I bend and fold this pillow all kinds of ways and it will always go back to its normal state even tho it is so thin you think you are going to damage it. I am very satisfied with this pillow. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally Getting Up On the Right Side of the Bed *by H***L on May 6, 2017* I'm a stomach sleeper with a herniated C4. My previous pillow was about 3 to 4 inches thick and I would wake up in such pain there were some mornings I could barely move. Back surgery in my early 40's is the last thing I want and, if I can manage to stay pain free, I will do everything I can to achieve that. After doing some research, I decided to try a really thin pillow and I am glad I chose this one. Like a lot of folks, I go by reviews as much as price and this one had very good reviews. I'm joining the club. It's not smooshy, which was a real concern of mine--I hate feather pillows and the like--and doesn't touch my face when I sleep, but also offers really amazing support. There was no weird odor and the cotton pillowslip was really soft. (I still put my own pillowslip on it.) If you are a stomach sleeper, I would really recommend this. The only reason I didn't give it four stars is because I want to see how well it holds up.
