This is our 1st gum tape machine and I was a little concerned it was all plastic but have been using it daily for several months and it's an amazing machine. This is the only gum machine I've used, but absolutely love it. It's increased our packaging speed, gone through two rolls of tape, and still look like it just came out of the box. 10 outta 10! Review: Poor item - The water activated tape that comes with the machine leaves much to be desired. You have to unroll the tape as it is otherwise sticking to itself and not able to go through the feed. After months of usage, I find the dispenser useless. I wasted a lot of tape simply because it kept getting stuck at the exit, even after troubleshooting it ## Features - Curbside recyclable water activated tape for use with Curby Mini Taper Machine - 4-Pack rolls; each roll is 2.83" x 300' - The first certified recyclable carton sealing tape; eliminates the need to separate tape from box for curbside recycling - Ultra-strong package protection with fiberglass and polyester reinforcements for secure hold - Recommended for use on light weight to average cartons up to 20 pounds ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B093K26Y3R | | Best Sellers Rank | #164,167 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #446 in Packing Tape | | Brand | CURBY | | Brand Name | CURBY | | Color | Tan | | Colour | Tan | | Compatible Material | Paper | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 630 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 50077922992978 | | Included Components | Tape | | Item Type Name | CURBY Water-Activated Tape Product | | Item Weight | 20 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Intertape Polymer Corp. | | Material | Polyester Fiberglass | | Material Type | Polyester Fiberglass | | Model | CBIWAT | | Number of Items | 4 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Recyclable | | Part Number | CBIWAT | | Recommended Uses For Product | Packaging | | Recommended uses for product | Packaging | | Size Name | 4-Pack | | Special features | Recyclable | | Surface Recommendation | Glass, Metal, Plastic | | UPC | 077922992973 | | Unit Count | 4.0 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Images ![CURBY IPG Water-Activated Tape, 2.83" x 100M Refill Roll (4-Pack), Tan (CBIWAT) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41z9PYYSjkL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing little machine *by K***E on 24 May 2025* We used to use poly tape. ### ⭐ Poor item *by R***N on 3 December 2023* The water activated tape that comes with the machine leaves much to be desired. You have to unroll the tape as it is otherwise sticking to itself and not able to go through the feed. After months of usage, I find the dispenser useless. I wasted a lot of tape simply because it kept getting stuck at the exit, even after troubleshooting it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great and at a good price! *by 3***N on 14 October 2025* For the price I didn't expect it to be this good given how much other manual dispensers are of this kind. But it works great and using the water activated tape is so much more fun now. Easy to load the tape and the glue is activated on the whole strip. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/348349290-curby-ipg-water-activated-tape-2-83-x-100m-refill](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/348349290-curby-ipg-water-activated-tape-2-83-x-100m-refill) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
