Review: Highly recommend! It is a very sturdy, beautiful desk with great raising and lowering features. - I love this desk! It is sturdy and well-made. As others have mentioned, it is challenging to put together. There is a video you can watch that helps a lot. My take on it is this: the video helps a ton, but it also shows the desk being put together by assembling the frame, then putting the top on with the frame upright. The printed instructions have you assembling the whole thing upside down, then turning it over. Other buyers have said it was really difficult to turn the assembled desk upright, and I can see how that might be the case. But it was hard to attach the top to the frame while lying on my back and keeping my arms up in the air. The assembly took about 3-4 hours. If I had it to do again, I think I'd assemble the whole thing upside down. It is confusing that the printed and the video instructions are at odds. That being said, I am so happy with this desk. The motor mechanism is smooth and quiet. It is a touch slow - but that's ok. Nothing on the desk wobbles or shakes when the desk is being adjusted up or down. The legs are substantial and the seam between the two top pieces are well secured so I don't think there will be any separation of the two parts.

The control cables are just long enough to reach everything and zip ties were provided. Good colors and very solid construction. It isnt going anywhere. I would get this again.

Both sides will raise at the same time (and height) with this desk. This is due to the sync rods being attached to the legs to allow them to turn and move the legs at the same time. **Q: Do the breaks where the desk plates connect cause any frustration? ei, are they uneven, or feel disconnected?**
A: Of course there is a bit of a crack because they are separate desktop plates with ever so slightly rounded edges but, when installed, they are very flat and butt up together very nicely.  They use a heavy duty steal plate underneath, at several points, that screw in and bring the desktop pieces together. I really like mine.  It is a nice low price solution to a sit/stand desk.

I love this desk! It is sturdy and well-made. As others have mentioned, it is challenging to put together. There is a video you can watch that helps a lot. My take on it is this: the video helps a ton, but it also shows the desk being put together by assembling the frame, then putting the top on with the frame upright. The printed instructions have you assembling the whole thing upside down, then turning it over. Other buyers have said it was really difficult to turn the assembled desk upright, and I can see how that might be the case. I really like this desk, so much so I bought a second one! It is very sturdy and well made. All the parts fit together with great alignment and the laminate is strong. The single motor is plenty adequate for the heavy computers we have on them and don't sound like they struggle at all lifting or lowering. Instructions are clear and easy to follow but do take your time as there's a lot to do...an automatic screwdriver is recommended versus doing it by hand like I did for the first one. If I could make one recommendation it would be to not assemble upside-down (as I did for the first one per-instructions), then try to flip when its done. That is very awkward and could cause damage. Instead, I assembled right-side-up and it was so much better and safer of an experience. You will have to lay on your back to get the top mounted but its easy...Just wear safety glasses. The only negative is the included cable management...The tabs don't stick even with hard pressure on them when applying being held down for 30 seconds. They just fall off after time...but easy to remedy with something else. Very minor and not worth knocking off a star for such a good product!
