Review: Not Junk. Will probably purchase again. Good stuff if youre on a respectable budget - No issues here. I was able to wire it down to 1 ohm on the dual coils. That matches my amp now. I love it Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose kicker because I put kicker speakers in all 4 corners of the car. Might as well keep it the same.
Review: There's a reason that Kicker has been a top brand for so long!! - I had been using a Blaupunkt 10" sub (4 ohm, single voice coil) and I thought it performed pretty decently. The I thought maybe I would upgrade to a dual voice coil sub that could run at 2ohms. I'm glad I did!! This sub is far superior to what I had and I can't believe the difference in punch and fullness of the bass. My amp had adequate power available at 2 ohms and it's a world of difference.
