Review: The best EDC spare Mag holster - I wear this every day as part of my EDC and it has not failed me. The Velcro is as strong as the day I bought it. I carry a P365 XMACRO 17rd metal mag with Hornady 135gr Critical Duty rounds and the leather just envelops it with ease! I actually worked a drill technic into my training for this holster. I know there’s already a reloading technic called reloading but I wanted to get as familiar and as far as I possibly could with my gear. Just like if you get a new gun holster, you drill it and drill it and drill it until your lightning. Well here’s how I drill this mag holster situated on my belt at 11 o’clock while I carry appendix. I call it RGPS. Rip-Grip-Press-Slam. • RIP • Rip the Velcro flap holding mag in holster. • GRIP • Grip the magazine and slide it out of holster. • PRESS • Press the magazine release on your handgun and drop the empty/malfunctioned mag out. • SLAM • Slam the spare mag home and if you do it hard enough it’ll actually release the slide without having to add the extra step of pressing the slide release, that is, if you achieved slide lock in the first place and that will allow you to quickly get back into the fight, but if you didn’t achieve slide lock then you’ll have to rack it but that alone should be incorporated into your malfunctioning drill. Anyway, I digress… I love that I can take it on and off easily with the strap that wraps up, under my belt and comes down, overtop to Velcro in place. It retains the shape and the contours of the magazine. I LOVE the fact that it is in line with my belt and practically disappears under a shirt. I’ve tested this holster with my Glock 43X extended mag + just for 💩&🤭 I thought I’d throw in my 1911 single stack and just as I excepted, I HANDLED THEM FLAWLESSLY! I’ve attached photos detailing all this. As well as a photo of the magazines tested using this holster. In conclusion, this is not a bespoke, but it is a highly versatile, highly adaptable, HIGHLY RELIABLE magazine holster! I highly recommend this for anyone that needs an EDC mag holster that’s not Kydex and isn’t straight up and down vertical crap. IF YOU WANT A GREAT LEATHER HOLSTER TO HOLD ONTO YOUR SPARE MAGAZINE AND KNOW IT WILL BE THERE IN THE SAME POSITION AS YOU PUT IT 10-14HOURS PRIOR IF GOD FORBID YOU ARE EVER PUT INTO A POSITION WHERE YOU NEED TO CHANGE MAGS, THEN BUY NOW!!!
Review: versatile and comfortable - advertised as fitting multiple size pistol mags - so I got it to try with my LCP, SR9c and 1911 mags. I have wanted a horizontal mag carrier for a while- being a fat guy means that vertical carries can be a little uncomfortable. Got this in and found that it can indeed be put on a belt with one hand - in fact one handed is the easiest technique. I put my LCP mag in first, fit fine - clearly the LCP mag would not fit all way to the end of the carrier. LCP mag is easy to get out and doesn't flop around inside the carrier. Next I put a fully loaded 1911 mag in - fits perfect, very comfortable on the belt. Next I put in the 17rnd SR9c mag - fits tight, and the end flap barely close but it does fit. Swapped out the 17 rnd mag for the 10rnd mag and it fits perfect - a little tight and perfect length. Again, very comfortable to carry - never even know it's there. This carrier is very well made. Good solid stitching in what seems to be good quality leather. The velcro closures are heavy duty and well stitched onto the leather. I am wearing this on an 1 1/2 " Bladetech Looper gun belt and it works well together - the belt is very stiff yet comfortable to wear, especially with a holster and mag carrier. The mag carrier can be adjusted on the belt to hold as tight as you wish. Again, very easy to put on or take off without taking your belt off. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a horizontal mag carrier. Concealment and comfort are the factors I was looking for and this product delivered it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this fit Taurus G4 Mag?**
A: I have Sig Sauer 228, 226 and 365 mags so look at the size of those compared to the Taurus G4, should not be a problem and they wear really well, can't feel them when wearing them since they are horizonal on your belt.

**Q: I have a springfield xdm 3.8 9mm compact. i carry one extra mag with me with the extension on the 19 round mag, will the one that fits the glock17 fit**
A: it would fit pretty much any glock I have a 19 with 10 rounds and fits good not sure about the 19 rounds will check and. Get back to you on that

**Q: Would this work for an XDE 9mm 9 round mag?**
A: It should, I use mine for several different mags. Use it for my XDS .45 acp / XDM 9 mm

**Q: I do not understand the size selection at all which one fits s&w single stack 45 acp mag. with a 1.5" belt ?**
A: It has a velcro strap that connects to the bottom then goes around your belt and hooks up to the front of the mag holder. This gives size flexibility for belt and mag.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite possibly the best single mag carrier for a civilian CC'er or Off Duty LEO.
*by N***C on March 9, 2013*

I know many LEO's and EDC'ers who dont cRry an extra mag at all, ever. for one they feel theyre unlikely to get into a shooting, and if so, the rounds in their gun in their mind will suffice. i have thought that way as well, but lately ive started carrying an extra mag on my belt or pants or jacket pocket because of encountering either a malfunction or needing for some 1:1000000 odds of having running out of ammo. the stress of a dynamic encounter can cause bulletsto miss. So onto my review... I have several single and double mag carriers for my Glock 27 and Springfield XD9, both double and single that I've bought for training purposes but started wearing the single pouches lately. I still can't in my head wrap around the idea of needing 49 rounds in my XD. Comfort is very important to me since I carry 12-15 hours a day and since I've got a bit of a belly the requisite prodding and poking of your standard polymer carriers is something I've gotten unhappily used to. I have lived with it and am good at deploying from these carriers to do malfunction drills and emergency and tactical reloads. Thank god I've never had to tactically deploy my weapon for anything life threatening. When I came across a leather pouch that fits horizontally on either side (both lefties and righties can use it) it just depends on whether you insert the tab up or down behind the belt. In fact regardless of which side you use you can do the same placement if you choose to draw the mag back out or frontward. I choose back out with the mag inserted bullets facing down so I can easily index the top cartridge to do a magazine change. The fact that its soft and horizontal is absolutely comfy. Nothing to poke or prod. I cannot say truly one bad thing about this pouch other than you must(MUST) get the proper size for your magazine. I've seen reviews here where the mag didnt fit properly and then checking Safarilands site [...] it shows a fitment chart. I highly recommend that you check there first. For instance the length and width of my XD9 16 rounder is just perfect, clearly though it wouldn't fit a XD45 easily. Now leather will stretch so it may work but do yourself a favor and order the right one. I tried putting my Glock 27 mag in, it fits much more snugly but over time I could see the leather stretching, but it is so short, holding 9 rounds I leaves a lot of wasted room. Nevertheless, it would work, but I'd be better off buying the correct model. I have the 123-18-2. A reviewer complained giving a poor review because his G36 mag didn't fit...well he needed the 123-83-2. As of now thats the model for Glock magazines, though my sub compact of course isn't listed due to its short length but it is workable. I can but won't stretch what I am using now to fit the G27 mag because I'm afraid that would loosen up the model I have and no longer hold the XD9 mag snugly. I love it and for like 15 bucks on Amazon, you can't go wrong.
