A: No. This compass has a needle balanced to the magnetic zones for North America and Northern Europe.

**Q: What color is it? page title says 'silva expedition 4 - ss19', in cart it is called 'silva expedition 4 - ss19 - one - black'.**
A: It is just as pictured. Maybe they are referí g to the lines and lettering.

**Q: Is this model made in sweden or in indonesia? the photo depicts one that has sweden on the base plate, but most models are now made in indonesia.**
A: In 2018 Silva Sweden AB reacquired Noth American distribution rights to the Silva brand from Johnson Outdoors. Silva of Sweden now produces compasses at a facility in China to their spec and quality controls. Fact is no one will pay $125 for a compass made by Swedish trade union labor. But these compasses IMHO are much better quality than The Indonesia made Silva models sold by Johnson Outdoors from1997-2017.

**Q: Is the whole bezel luminous? Or just a little under the index-line?**
A: No clue. I gave it to my son-in-law for Christmas one year and he said he likes it, but as he lives a long distance away I can't answer about the bezel.
