I just turned 40 and am grey in a few areas I have been using dye to cover since my 20's. My mother bought me a bottle of this by accident 2 months ago and wow. I thought I had found a way to stop hair going grey-then I looked at my shampoo. I was using colour enhancing lol It works as well as a demi toner and gets deeper each wash until a nice mix of dark is achieved. It works better than a home dye for me right now! I have debilitating disability and find dying my hair and other pamper sessions hard so this is a game changer. Cannot find a matching conditioner so have ordered the Midnight hair deepening mask to boost the colour. I can put dying my hair off for at least 2 months now. Ok its expensive for shampoo but lasts, is lovely to hair and does exactly what it says it does. I highly recommend especially as a quick pick me up before a night out or wknd away.
