I am really glad I did. I run this in a vertical knee mill (Bridgeport knockoff) on lots of small R&D projects. There is a bit more set up compared with running a hand tap, but the result is a square entry every time and the actual tapping process is a fraction of the time compared with using a hand tap. I wasn't even sure how to operate this properly, but there are a number of helpful videos on YouTube to get you over that hump if need be. Be aware that you need the right sized rubber flex collet to accommodate the shank size of the tap you are running.
