Useful, effective, easy to use. ### ⭐ Cheap and useless *by R***B on 27 June 2024* Poorly made out of cheap materials ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for at-home use - cleans string very thoroughly! *by S***N on 18 January 2026* While gigging I use a MusicNomad String Fuel string cleaner on my basses in between sets. More often on summer outdoor gigs. However, the Saphue string cleaner is really nice for cleaning stings thoroughly at home. Very easy to use and man you should see the gunk that comes from cleaning the top AND underside of each string as well as the fretboard! For live gig use this cleaner may be just a bit messier and time consuming than you need in a quick clean situation. (Pro/Cheapo Tip: Instead of paying for fluid refills I just spray a little WD40 on the pad and go. I've used WD40 for decades now and It works very well to help maintain consistent tone and sound.) ## Frequently Bought Together - SAPHUE Guitar String Cleaner Clean Fretboard Cloth Tool Scrubber for Cleaning Maintenance Care Kit for Violin/Bass/Ukulele/Electric Guitars and Other Musical Instrument 2 Pack - Ernie Ball Guitar Polish, Fretboard Conditioner, and String Cleaner with Polish Cloth --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/341452766-saphue-guitar-string-cleaner-clean-fretboard-cloth-tool-scrubber-cleaning](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/341452766-saphue-guitar-string-cleaner-clean-fretboard-cloth-tool-scrubber-cleaning) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
