It's been great, heats quickly, pours a nice narrow stream of water, easily directed to where I want it to go. It's a good size, not too big or small & looks nice on the kitchen counter, doesn't take up too much room. Comes with a thermometer that I'm not currently using. But I did cut & keep the list of temperatures recommended to properly prepare different types of teas & coffee that was printed on the side of the box. It's completely stainless inside with only a very small (maybe 1" x 1/2") piece of plastic inside that's attached to the handle & is just inside the rim where the lid clicks in. When I fill the kettle, I don't add so much water that it covers this piece of plastic. If I did, water would overflow out the top when boiling. So I'm not concerned about having that little bit of plastic inside. The lid comes off completely which I think is a plus. I read many reviews for other stainless kettles, some much more expensive, that have a button to pop the lid open but seems the button can wear out after a while & then you either can't open it, or close it properly. But still worth the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really like it so far and have only had it for ... *by S***Y on December 3, 2016* The kettle arrived when it was suppose too. I've been a coffee drinker all my life and decided to try green tea for a change. I have never used a regular kettle or electric kettle before so here goes: Not rocket science right? Common sense says to run water through it first before you use it and so did the instructions. It heats the water quickly. I mean really quickly. As soon as I start it, in about a minute and a half, its to the desired temperature for green tea (170 F). I usually have two cups and when I pour the second cup, the water is still hot. The On/Off switch is really functional. It's a lever on the rear of the electric plate and is large. If you leave it on, it will reach it's max temp (212 F) and automatically shut off. There is an indicator light to let you know when it's off or on. It comes with a thermometer that you can insert into a hole in the lid to see where the water temperature is when heating. I really like it so far and have only had it for two weeks. Time will tell but it looks well made. Very functional. I received an email from the rep of the company who sells this kettle and she was very courteous and was wanting to know if everything was fine with this purchase and item. Good business practices as far as I am concerned. The instructions are self explanatory and about the only challenge I am going to have, is cleaning it later on for scaling.
