**Q: what is the amp limits, temp limts- can it be used for automotive?**
A: I use them on automotive, but these connectors are for small gauge wires only.Maybe 16 gauge, but made for 18 to 24 gauge.

**Q: When crimping three cat five wires together with a blue wet beanie connector, do you need to strip the wires first? I know 2 wires you don't have to.**
A: most cat5 is 26 ga and ive done 3 plenty of times just fine. However that is strictly for POTS/ cat3 and other stuff like access control cables. you cannot splice cat5 in an actual network application with these connectors and maintain 100Mbs speeds or even 10Mb probably. There are punchdown splices available and you can crimp on 2 rj45s and use a F-F coupler or put  a rj45 keystone on one end and crimp a male end on the other. There is no possible reason you would ever splice 3 cables together in a cat5 network anyway. That being said, if youre using it for POTS wiring its fine

**Q: What is then length of the connector?**
A: About 1/2" total.

**Q: This might sounds dumb but if you put both wires that you are splicing in one end of the connector, what keeps moisture from entering the other end?**
A: THE DC-100S HAVE A SEALANT TO SEAL THE CONNECTION AND THE OTHER END CAN EASLY BE USED FOR TESTING PURPOSES IF NEEDED  BETTER THAN A WIRE NUT.ESPECIALLY IF SPACE IS LIMITED
