- Automatic closing & locking: Open the pressure mount stair gate between 30° and 90° and it automatically closes and locks behind you, so you can pass through without stopping to pull the gate shut or check the latch. Open it beyond 90° and it stays fixed open, so you can move back and forth without repeatedly reopening the gate
- One-handed dual swing: The 49 cm walk-through opening and one-hand operation make passing through easier when carrying your baby, groceries or pet. The extra wide stair gate swings in either direction for smoother movement through busy doorways, while either lower lock can be engaged to limit opening to one side
- Easy double-locking: Two upper buttons must be pressed simultaneously to release the pet gate, creating a simple adult-friendly locking action that is difficult for children or pets to operate accidentally. Once released, the latch closes securely after each use, so you do not need to remember to lock the gate behind you
- Tool-free pressure mounting: Set up the no drill stair gate between a doorway, hallway or stairway, then tighten the four adjustment bolts until the latch-side gap is 2-3 mm for smooth operation. This is a great bit of kit. we didn't need both extension pieces, but it is so worth the money. Easy to assemble, lightweight but strong, excellent lock mechanism with the over 90 degree stay open option, which is very useful if you are carrying anything like a laundry basket for example. Really glad we got it would definitely recommend.
