I’ve tried changing all the settings and have been using for multiple years now. My wife and I share the home setup on different computers and neither one of them look good. It would blink on, off, on, off, on, off until I connected it directly. This display blew out after two years, at which time I replaced it with a different brand -- that one worked instantly with *all* my hub and switch configurations, proving the original problem was slow HDMI negotiation in the ASUS display itself, exceeding the switch's timeout limit.
