**Q: Is this the same tray used in the seed starting kits?**
A: Seed starting kits usually have a “plug style” whereby just 1-2 seeds are dropped in each hole or plug. After the seed germinates and perhaps develops true leaves, you take it out of the plug and re-plant it into the ground or a container meant to give it space to grow to maturity. Microgreen trays are meant to grow just microgreens(greens not intended to grow to full maturity) and you broadcast the seeds rather densely on the tray. So no, these are usually not the same type of trays used for seed starting.

**Q: Seller, do the 1" trays with holes fit flush inside of these, or is there clearance between the two trays at the bottom? Thanx**
A: Yes, there is a small water channel in thes the no holed trays trays to hold a little excess. water

I should have purchased these first but I initially bought trays at my local nursery. They were $3.00 per tray but started falling apart. So I then purchased some smaller trays on Amazon and they worked out but I needed a bigger size. Hence, Boot Strap trays are PERFECT! They are built to last and truly you don’t need to worry about them breaking or warping like the cheaper competitors. I wish I would have just purchased these in the beginning. So learn from my mistake, save some money, look no further, purchase these. Happy growing!
