I sent my sister a box and we video chatted and video drooled about how good they were and how they reminded us both of growing up eating them in New York. I recommend them over that store bought frozen brand, even though those are good also. When they're baked the bottoms get a slightly grill pattern and sometimes produce flakes. The small black flecks on the inside of the packaging is just from the bottom of the pretzel, entirely edible. Alot of care went in to the manufacturing of these pretzels, right down to the wonderful pretzel salt and airtight packaging. Should keep well in the fridge for several days.
