The design of the Polaroid Dive Rated Waterproof very specific for each camera. The buttons on the outside of the Polaroid attach to little pins on the inside of the housing so when pushed, the pins are what actuate the button on your camera. If something is off by just a couple of mm, it just won't work. If you see a box on the Amazon advertisement that has nex-5t in it, then click on that. It will work. Otherwise...sorry. **Q: will this work with the Sony NEX-5RK/B?** A: Of course, am using when dive **Q: Will any of these housings fit with a Sony Alpha a5000?** A: I really do not know. I bought it and I loose my money because I have a Sony Alpha 3N and the description was very confuse for me. So when I receive the case I realice that it does not fit my camera. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AWESOME SONY NEX 5 UNDERWATER CASE!!! *by T***E on December 2, 2012* I looked for an underwater case for a long time and found this one. I used it on my recent trip to Miami and Key West. Brought it to the beach and took it underwater and in the waves. It stood up very well and did not leak. The controls were also easy to use while the case is on. One thing to note: I did initially put the camera in the case with the UV lens filter on and some controls stuck on the back of the camera. So make sure you just put the camera body and original lens with no extra lens covers on so the controls will work easily. I debated about which case to buy for the 16mm lens or the 18-55mm zoom lens. I went with the 16mm lens since there is digital zoom on the camera with that lens. This case is also great protection in the rain, especially in tropical rain where it rains hard. On the beach it protects from sand too. Great photos and video can be taken with this case underwater. Even with the case on, the sound on the video records effectively. I highly recommend this underwater case! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It held up just fine in the ocean in Maui *by B***N on April 6, 2017* The first unit leaked. One of the buttons was broken. I returned it and got another. It held up just fine in the ocean in Maui. Just remember to submerge it to see if it leaks before you put your camera in it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Does NOT fit the new 20mm Sony Pancake lense *by J***G on August 4, 2013* Product itself looks great. I took a risk to see if the newest Sony pancake lens from Sony would fit this case as the new lens is superior in many ways.
