So if you're looking for a high quality sound system with all the fancy customizations, $15 just won't cut it. I bought the FM only aux option of this product and am very satisfied with my purchase so far. Instillation was quick and easy. All you need is basic know-how about wiring and a few simple tools and you're set. (The guys at O'rileys helped me find what I needed). All you need is some pliers and a small box of wire clamps and if you're not picky about the kind you get, a small box runs for a few bucks.I installed this stereo system into my 1996 VW golf because I wanted the AUX option. Sound wise, this stereo does exactly what I need. I haven't used the SD card yet but I won't need to since all my music I play from my iPhone. I use the aux port on the front to play music and it does just fine. The stereo has buttons for preset radio stations, tuning, a mute button, a mode button to switch between radio, sd, aux, and usb. You can adjust base, treble, fading, and it offers a few preset options for maximizing music quality (rock, pop, loud, etc...)My only complaint is that you cannot adjust the brightness for the backlight. It's not overpoweringly bright, but having a few brightness level options would be nice. You can still turn it off entirely which serves me perfectly.Some people noted that the volume automatically resets itself to 25 when you turn the car off. I have not had this problem with mine. I think the problem with that has to do with either loose or incorrect wiring.Overall, for $15 bucks plus some wire clamps, I feel like I got a deal. Should I purchase another junk vehicle in the future, I'll definitely install this stereo into it. This does not play CD's, you can only listen to the radio or use an SD card, USB or AUX cable to play your music. The stereo itself is smaller in the back as extra space is not needed for playing CD's. The stereo is easy to install and comes with a wire harness. The music quality is okay, not great, but you do get what you pay for. I previously had an Alpine in my car and the sound quality was great and the bass was much better. This new stereo is loud enough, but no bass whatsoever. The buttons do feel cheap and there is a bit of a delay when switching stations. The radio does feel very cheap, the buttons make that plastic "clack" sound when you push them. But the interface is straightforward, Aux In works great, it gets plenty loud with just the built-in amp. Haven't played with the SD card or USB ports yet, but very nice to have the option. Annoyances: the center wheel click doesn't seem to work that great, not sure if there's a lag or if it's the hardware. Usually end up pressing it two or three times until the machine responds. And there's a definite lag using radio presets, you press for a preset and it spends a second displaying that it's going to Preset 3 before actually changing to it.All in all a good little player.
