I was prepared to have issues screwing together as others have but that was not the case, although not real smooth it did go together easily. I PICKED UP THE TUBE AT MY FRONT DOOR AND THE POLES SLID OUT. NO CAPS, JUST BROKEN TAPE. GUESS IT'LL BE RETURNED THE SAME WAY!! First impressions....same as Others said, the pieces are difficult to thread together. 100% CORRECT. The threads were rough. The minute I tried to put the two pieces together I was already NOT liking this thang! Ii can just imagine being on the boat in the wind fighting to get these two poles attached.....NOT GOOD.
