I suffer with lupus and menopause and noticed that my hair was getting thinner and balding around my frontal hair line and also that my nails were brittle and break easily, I have just been taking for a short time (several weeks) and I noticed that my nails are growing longer and stronger. I believe I am beginning to see some growth in my bald spots, but I will have to update later on whether or not my hair returns. Also, I have noticed less joint pain in my knees in which I suffer from Osteoarthritis. Nonetheless, the product is tasteless and mix well. I place one scoop in my coffee each morning and like others have posted, it makes the coffee creamier but does not change the taste. The only con is that the powder is not filled to the brim when you open the Jar. I would like to receive more product in the jar. Taking it less than 1 year, reaping amazing results ... who doesn't like less wrinkles. *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2016* I must admit that I have an addiction to collagen (too bad we can't use emojies here) anyway, Collagen for me is a blessing and taking it, has become part of my daily regimen. I started taking it when I fell to help in the healing of my knee/leg. All the different brands have the same benefits, but for me I like to try different ones ... keeping my options open and find the one I prefer most.Catalyst is, in my opinion, one of the best that I have tried. I like how quickly it dissolves into the liquid. It's not as super powdery fine as others, which is nice then it doesn't fall everywhere other than what your adding it to. It is unflavored, although if you have sensitive taste buds you may get an off taste, but that can be hidden, as I learned to get creative. I wouldn't mix it with water or milk...BLAH!! Some people can handle that taste, me not so much.It's a South American product that has no additives, fillers or preservatives. It is from grass-fed cattle, non GMO, kosher and gluten free. The scoop that comes in the collagen is 33 cc or about 2 about Tablespoons. It states that 2 scoops is a serving, which is 84 calories, 21 grams fat and 110 mg sodium. Collagen is not a COMPLETE PROTEIN.Since I started taking collagen, I have noticed tremendous results. I rarely take pain pills of any sort now, this is my personal choice, always check with your Doctor before stopping any medication(s). I notice a difference in my hair, eyebrows/lashes, nails, skin and also, in my complexion.There are so many other benefits of this super wonderful dietary supplement, external and internal. Here are a few more, but do an internet search, it is amazing all the different uses.1. Add it to your shampoo (store brand or homemade).2. Make collagen water and spritz it on your face.3. I like to add it to my bowl of soup, in my Bai drinks/coffee/tea.I had heard that it's best to take it with vitamin c, it will absorb into the body more efficiently and not to take it with milk, it won't be as effective.
