This is a Stunning Large Solar System Mobile. Gazing in the night sky we wonder about the size and scope of the universe and within that magnitude our solar system seems infinite and overwhelming.

Review: We were very pleased with the quality of this mobile. It was quite easy to hang, as long as you can reach your ceiling and attach a hook or other means of hanging the mobile. Because the sun hugely dwarfs all the planets, it would be impossible in any home I've seen to hang a mobile that was done to scale. This mobile preserves the relative order of size, with the sun in the center being quite big and the other planets sized from biggest to smallest. The three arms came very close to being in balance. We corrected a slight imbalance by squeezing one or two weights used on fishing lines onto the hanging arm. All in all, we were impressed with the craftsmanship and ease of assembly. This mobile is nice enough to hang anywhere in your house. If you want one to hang over a crib, cheaper ones are available that would serve for an infant or toddler. This is made to please discriminating adults.

**Q: approximately how big are the individual planets?**
A: The biggest planet, Jupiter, is about 5.5" in diameter.  The rings of Saturn are roughly 7" in diameter.  And the smallest, Pluto, is 1.5".  The Sun, however, is 7.5" in diameter.

**Q: I'm confused about the dimensions? Can somebody clarify?**
A: This exact solar system is hanging in my son's playroom. It's approximately 4 ft from end to end. The planets hang down at different levels. My husband hung it in the middle of the room which is about to change because 2 or 3 kids and balls, legos, etc. Not a good idea, it's about to be moved in a corner above a set of short lockers. It's definitely a conversation starter at a great price. Also you can hang it as low to the floor or as high to ceiling that you desire. We just wrapped the clear string that was left over around the nail we hung it with or you can cut it. Also it is constantly slowly turning with the air flow which makes it even more interesting.  Hope this helped.

A: The sun is @ 23" circumference; down to Pluto (yes, 9 vs. 8 planets in this mobile) at 5" cir.

**Q: I would love to purchase it. But my sons room has a ceiling fan. Would that be a problem? Would it cause it to tangle or fall apart it’s a smaller roo**
A: Just make sure you measure the available space. My son’s room has a ceiling fan and I was able to hang it in the corner. Also, you can adjust the height at which it hangs to prevent it from interfering with the ceiling fan.
