I have tested these new glasses and emitter (THREE-D) and they seem to work as well as the NVIDIA 3D Vision system. The components can be interchanged. For example, the THREE-D glasses with the NVIDIA emitter and the NVIDIA glasses with the THREE-D emitter. The only difference I have noticed is the THREE-D glasses wake up in pseudo mode (eyes swapped) but this can be changed in the NVIDIA driver settings.
