While the product is exactly as described it might not work for my project. The material is a diff type of plastic than the normal sheet plastic you get at the hardware store, and a lot stiffer. Not sure I’ll be able to get it to fit the tighter corners of my barrel. Also should have gotten a slightly larger size. 5’ would have been nice for the barrel. I’d likely love it for a more traditional pond. Seems pretty tough! Again, product is as described. Just thought I’d leave this review for others with similar plans. I do a lot of work with plastics and the two pieces of advice I would offer are buy a good quality, highly rated tape and wipe down any seaming locations with a proper solvent before applying tape. I usually use a 70% or higher isopropyl alcohol to wipe down any plastics or resins that I am bonding. It will remove any oils and release agents from the plastics and I have never found any plastics that it harms. **Q: Can you cut it to the size you want** A: Yes, you can cut the pond liner into any size and any shape you want. **Q: What type or brand of seam sealer will work on this product?** A: Personally I bought a seam sealer from the Pond Guy. But how well any sealer works depends on whether you are gluing together two liners of similar construct. This pond liner is not very flexible and rather brittle, and shiny. It did not match the rubber type liner of my current pond. Therefore, this liner did not suit my needs. I ended up pulling up this replacement liner and purchasing a small amount of proper liner from the Pond Guy, and more sealer.
