Rubberized boot over meter protects against shocks, and it uses two AAA cells which are common and cheap to obtain. Update: Had it for about a year and discovered it has a white LED on the rear which can be useful to illuminate a valve stem in the dark, it can be turned on by hitting the power button. Still holding up well with no errors or issues. Big improvement over the cheap junk analog gauge that it replaced.

This is a nice upgrade to a tire inflator that came with a less then useful or reliable analog needle gauge. Rubberized boot over meter protects against shocks, and it uses two AAA cells which are common and cheap to obtain. Update: Had it for about a year and discovered it has a white LED on the rear which can be useful to illuminate a valve stem in the dark, it can be turned on by hitting the power button. Still holding up well with no errors or issues. Big improvement over the cheap junk analog gauge that it replaced.

Used it to replace one on a different manufacturer's tire inflator. It was easy to install and worked right out of the box. No setup and seems to be accurate. Found out during first couple times I used it that it has a rear pointing work light for night time emergencies.
