## Description

Scotchextreme fasteners work are great on multiple surfaces. Can be used to hold down tarps outdoors, hang outdoor decor on siding and fences, or mount metal signs. Fasteners are available in Black or clear and various sizes.

Review: Better than anything else - I picked these up to mount a few things without drilling, and they ended up being a lot stronger than standard hook-and-loop strips. The first thing you notice is the hold. Once you press them together, they lock in tight and don’t come apart easily. It’s more of a firm snap than soft Velcro, so whatever you’re mounting feels secure. The adhesive backing sticks well as long as you prep the surface. On clean, smooth surfaces, it grabs and holds without peeling up. Once it’s set, it doesn’t shift around or loosen over time. What makes them useful is being able to remove and reattach things without losing that grip. You can pull items off when needed and snap them back in place without the adhesive failing. Build quality feels solid. The plastic interlocking side doesn’t wear out quickly, and it keeps that strong hold even after multiple uses. The only thing to keep in mind is they’re not meant for heavier items beyond the stated limit, and once the adhesive is down, repositioning isn’t really an option. Overall, they do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Strong hold, reusable, and a good alternative to drilling or permanent mounts.

**Q: Can they be removed easily without damaging my lumbar pillow or PU leather chair with its adhesive?**
A: These are extremely strong and are not easy to remove. It will definitely leave glue residue behind. Hope this helps.

**Q: Is there a difference between these and the regular scotch heavy duty fasteners?**
A: This is the EXTREME fastener.  It holds 10 pounds.  The next lower, or "regular" fastener holds only 2 pounds.  That is the difference.

**Q: Does this stick to fabric?**
A: Not designed for fabric.  It might stick but probably not very well.

**Q: Will this hold up inside car and the heat?**
A: Yes.  I purchased this product to hold my Garmin GPS device on dash.  I live in Southeastern WI and temperatures range (seasonally) from 100 humid degrees to minus 20 degrees.  Scotch Extreme Interlocking Fasteners have been working great in my car for the better part of two years.  Highly recommend.

Don't waste your time with the Velcro brand fasteners if you're using for outdoor use. This is the product to go with. No issues with application and has held strong since day one. The Velcro brand product I purchased failed as soon as it rained. This is truly water proof and is as described.
