After doing a few of these, I found this super simple way to do it. 1) On the front of the cam, you'll notice between the original lens and the black plastic surround, there's a rubber gasket there. 2) Insert slotted screw driver between the lens and the black plastic surround. You'll need to push the rubber gasket in. Don't worry, just go slow and steady. 3) Pry the black plastic piece off using the original lens as a lever. It'll pop right out. 4) Use a pair of pliers to unscrew the original lens. It is glued in, so it will take some force. I've done this a few times and never lost a camera doing it. I did lose a camera by disassembling one, when the ribbon cables frayed, so in my experience, it's safer to keep the cam intact and force the lens to unscrew by breaking the glue with a bit of strength. 5) Screw in the new Xenocam lens. If you screw it in until the set screw for the zoom touches the white case, it'll be almost perfect. Depending on the range of view, you might need to remove the first set screw and continue screwing it in. It sounds kind of scary, but it's pretty easy once you gain the confidence to use a little force. The improvement in image quality is amazing.
