The town where I live says it’s OK to put anything non-toxic that fits in their trash bin. I used this diamond wheel to chop up the galvanized metal cap so it would fit in my trash bin. Once I got the wheel started, it cut the 16 gauge galvanized sheet steel almost as fast as I could move the angle grinder. It took me 15 minutes to cut the old cap into pieces. This Diamond wheel is far superior to the vitrified cutoff wheels that are a mess and degrade quickly. The rapidly decreasing diameter of the vitrified wheels also make them cut slower. So I played by the town and waste law rules, didn’t violate any environmental laws and got rid of the cap thanks to this Diamond cutoff wheel. As you can see, I made it fit in the trash can.
