This treats a lot of gallons and i am sure there would be some benefit to dispersing the whole bucking into your 1/2 acre pond, but since large ponds are not really measured in gallons, but in acres or square feet of surface area, you would get more benefit and find it to be easier to measure into your pond situation if you used one of the products that is specifically made for farm ponds, like Pond Logic (Airmax) ClearPac Plus which contain ClearPond Bags and Muck Away Pellets.
