Size was exactly as described. Some of the comments said they were smaller than they looked but this is why they give the dimensions so you can look at a tape measure and gauge whether they would work. They are not meant to hold a curtain back. For that you need a much bigger hook. Installation was straightforward. the screws provided are a headless screw. Just screw them into the back of the hook. Mine didn't go quite all the way in but that should not be an issue. next drill the proper size hole. Some have commented that the anchors are flimsy and collapse when hammered in. They work just fine if you drill the correct size hole. Then you screw the hook into the anchor.
