I told them that I was not trying to get the hardware for free. I wanted to buy it from them. They were still not able to help. They said they are only the shipper, not the manufacturer. I said, "Okay, give me the manufacturer's contact information." They said that they didn't know who the manufacturer was - they were some place in China. So, I was forced to search on desertcart, and of course, I found the inserts. What a happy circumstance. These screws for my shelves perfectly, and now, my shelves are fully assembled again. The inserts fit perfectly. The inside opening measured 7/8 inches, when I measured it. Be sure to look closely at the center ”ridge” as it was different from the original. The original was one ridge while the ones I just received are 2 ridges. As I bought a set of four it is ok.
