If I had to give an intelligent guess, I would say yes, it should work at the top of the door - just be sure it does not block the opening and hinge creases of the door. **Q: Does this work on carpeted floors?** A: Yes it works on any floor because it’s where you place it on the bottom of the door **Q: Will this harm the wood finish on my door?** A: I had no problem with the wood finish on my door. **Q: Can staples hold sucessfully to rough wood door surface, of entry/exit door, where adhesive fixation won't work?** A: If the staples are heavy duty like the kind used for carpeting I believe it’ll hold it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars These are great to keep the A/C in or out of a room. Also great for dark no under the door light. *by A***L on Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2023* Just be careful don't try to take off once you put it on. I tried moving it, it adhered so well I removed the paint. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to install! *by J***C on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2023* I have placed the sweep at my front and back door and I can feel a difference in the temperature in my living room where the one is at my front door and in my kitchen where the other one is at that door. The adhesive works very well. though I did add a small amount of glue for extra adhesive, but I found I actually didn't need it. I would definitely recommend this product. It was worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars ok draft stopper *by R***G on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2023* not as good as the fabric ones. i had to use the nail because the adhesive peels off the door. i use this for my basement door and they're ok. had to finagle them to get them to work properly. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/318249200-holikme-2-pack-door-draft-stopper-weather-stripping-door-sweep](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/318249200-holikme-2-pack-door-draft-stopper-weather-stripping-door-sweep) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
