But, he thought at times you may have to use a more aggressive product to get seborrhea contained. The shampoo appears to lessen the oil in the skin, without hurting any other less affected places on the body. This has a light scent, but its not heavy or irritating. The dog felt less itchy, and less oily after the bath. This is a product that costs more, but if your dog has seborrhea I can say it improved the skin on my dog. Nothing else was working. The most important comment I have is to read the instructions on the bottle. Your dog will most likely not get relief if you do not leave the shampoo to sit on the coat the suggested length of time. I know! This is not the first time I have bought this product.
