I would recommend grabbing something like MSI afterburner or PrecisionXOC to adjust the fans to your liking. So far I've been able to keep it running cool around mid 40's to low 50's even under load. Because I currently have a mid tower** A: That is the size of the box it ships in, the card itself is 2 PCI wide but it is decently long, longer than my motherboard, you will need to make sure you do not have hard disk bays, or cables coming up from the motherboard in line with PCI-E slot(s) it occupies. My motherboard has the SATA ports right there, but they are flat and you connect 90 degrees to the motherboard, and this card rests right on top of them.
