Since the end of the belt is finished with a fixed hard plastic plastic "cap" over the end of the belt, there is no way to cut it to size. The fabric and velcro are much too thick to do that - and the fabric would just ravel. **Q: I have 2 cell phones, 6 inches by 1.25 inches thick together. Can they fit in the pocket? Is it tight thickness wise?** A: Plenty of room in the pocket to fit either phone and perhaps both at the same time. I fit my iPhone 7S, my inhaler, 2x energy gel, 2x liquid IV and still have room for a wad of cash or keys if you need to.
