Da für alle Herdarten geeignet kann man kaum etwas falsch machen. Bisher 5 Sterne…Das „ZWILLING Quadro Kochtopf-Set, 5-teilig mit 4 Deckeln“ wird sehr sicher und gut in einem 45x33x26cm messenden Karton, verschickt. Das Set besteht aus 5 unterschiedlichen Kochtöpfen und 4 Glasdeckeln. Die 5 Töpfe (5l, 3l, 2l, 1l Kochtopf und eine 1l Kasserolle) haben fast einen identischen Aufbau: Auf einem gut 0,8cm dicken „Sandwitchboden“ folgt die Topf Wand, die am oberen Ende mit 0,5cm „um gebördelt“ ist, was ein Ausgießen erleichtert! Bei den Töpfen sind beidseitig „standardisierte“ U-Griffe angeschweißt (8x4x0,7x0,7cm + 2,5cm angeschweißte Enden), die auch bei „kochendem“ Inhalt (ohne Hilfsmittel) gut zu nutzen sind! Topf Maße wie folgt: 5l = 1396g Eigengewicht, 25,5Ø x14,5cm; 3l = 1021g Eigengewicht, 21,5Ø x12cm; 2l = 978g Eigengewicht, 21,5Ø x10cm; 1l = 688g Eigengewicht, 17,5Ø x10,5cm; 1l Kasserolle = 646g Eigengewicht, 17,5Ø x8cm (hier hat der Griff aber die Maße 15x2x0,7x0,7cm). Alle Töpfe stehen glatt und ohne zu „kippeln“ auf unserer Cerankochfeld-Platte, somit ist eine sehr gute Wärmeübertragung gewährleistet! Durch den Sandwitchboden, kann man die Energiezufuhr frühzeitig abdrehen, denn die gespeicherte Wärme lässt den Topfinhalt noch lange Heiß/Warm bleiben.Auch die Glasdeckel sind „Standartisiert“. Auf einem in einen Edelstahlring eingefassten, konvexen Glasdeckel, sitzt eine 9,0Øcm Edelstahlplatte mit einem 8x3x0,7x0,7cm Griff. Auch dieser Griff wird (interessanter weise), trotz kochendem Topfinhalt nur mäßig warm! Der Deckel des 3l und 2l Topfes sind austauschbar, während der Deckel des 1l Topfes auch auf die 1l Kasserolle passt. Alle Deckel sitzen auf den passenden Töpfen mit einem leichten Spiel, was entstehende Dämpfe gut ableitet (Überkochen).Das Kochen macht mit allen Töpfen spaß, das Kochgut ist bisher nicht angebrannt und entstandene (angetrocknete) Reste ließen sich problemlos entfernen. Um die häufig angesprochenen „weißen Flecken“ zu vermeiden sollte man Kartoffeln, Nudeln, Reis usw. erst salzen, wenn diese schon im Wasser sind und Dieses schon etwas heiß geworden ist – das Salz löst sich sehr schnell auf und verschwindet beim Ausgießen im Abfluss. Denn noch leicht warmen Topf am besten gleich mit einem Tuch und warmem Wasser (ohne Spülmittel) auswaschen um mögliche Reste sofort zu entfernen. Bei stark kalkhaltigem Wasser oder bei bestimmten Gewürzen kann der Topfboden einen leichten „Regebogenton“ bilden, den man aber durch sanftes Auskochen (nur schwaches Erwärmen) des Topfes mit Essigessenz (eigentlich) immer wieder loswird.“Made in Germany“ wird hier leider sehr gedehnt: Das Design und die Ideen stammen aus Deutschland, Hergestellt werden Sie aber in China!
